Day'vion Coker

No birthday available.

Day'vion began his film journey with his first short film on iPhone, "Yves, Who Lost Himself in a Dream." Day'vion was inspired by a bunch of French New Wave (particularly Jean Luc Godard), Japanese New Wave, and other dreamy films. His journey started from a feeling that he had at his grandmother's house. The feeling was drawing under golden light, listening to Cigarettes After Sex, while "Perchance To Dream" from Twilight Zone played in the background. The feeling reoccurred to him later on, though it wasn't the same feeling, but similar. One night, he had woken up to the final conversation between Travis and Jane (Paris, Texas), which he stayed up to watch. Ever since then, Day'vion has tried to capture that similar feeling he once experienced through cinema.
