Kasey Smith

American keyboardist and pianist born November 25, 1960 in Flushing, Queens, NY.
Smith and drummer Michael Bellusci played in a cover band for a few years, from 1976 to 1980. In 1980, Smith and Bellusci formed the Jazz/Rock/Fusion group Get With It. They had minor success in 1981, but the band never received a record deal, despite their following in the New York area. By the end of 1986, Get With It disbanded.
In 1987, Smith joined up with a newly-formed band named Danger Danger. Smith would release two studio albums, one live EP, and demos with the band, before leaving in 1992, after touring for the album Screw It!. In 1998, Smith would help his old band work on the album, Four the Hard Way.
After leaving Danger Danger, Smith and Bellusci reconnected musically. And in 2006, Smith and Bellusci formed Shock and reworked their old material, while in Get With It, and recording new material.
Smith reunited with Danger Danger for their show at the final Firefest in 2014.
Aside from making music, Smith also runs a recording studio in Queens.
