Tom van Lieshout

Tom van Lieshout was born in Lopik, The Netherlands. From a young age, he showed a deep fascination for art and storytelling, often spending his time drawing, composing music, and creating LEGO models. This early creativity naturally developed into a passion for filmmaking.
After finishing high school, Tom pursued his studies at the Nederlandse Academie Voor Beeldcreatie (NAVB), where he focused on film and visual storytelling. In 2025, he wrote and directed his first short film, De Zolder.
