Karim ElDin ElAlfy

Karim El Alfy is an Egyptian screenwriter and film director best known for creating and directing the hit independent series Nesr El Scene (2022), which garnered over 4 million views across its five episodes. El Alfy studied filmmaking at the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. His short film Empty Lands premiered at the Red Sea International Film Festival in December 2025, winning the Silver Yusr award, it has also been officially selected in competition for the Tampere Film Festival; marking the beginning of its festival launch for 2026. El Alfy is based between Los Angeles and Cairo.
