Edgar Mesropyan

By 2025 Edgar Mesropyan is a Yerevan-based director and production designer. He is currently studying filmmaking at Kinodproc, a film school in Armenia, while actively working across feature films, television, commercials, and music videos in key creative roles.

As a production designer, Edgar has contributed to projects for Kinodaran, Armenia’s leading streaming platform. His work includes serving as Production Designer for the Armenian television series Summer of ‘84 and working as an Assistant Director on the series 11, both of which are broadcast on Kinodaran. His production design work also extends to numerous commercials and music videos distributed online across multiple platforms.

Alongside his growing industry resume, Edgar is developing his career as a film director. He completed a documentary about volunteer work during wartime, and currently working on his first short film while participating in several additional screen projects in development.

Born and based in Armenia, Edgar brings an emerging creative voice shaped by Armenian culture and contemporary visual storytelling. He continues to build his practice at the intersection of directing and production design, aiming to contribute to the growth of Armenian cinema and its international presence.
