Ben Dashwood

Yep, that’s him, Benjamin Dashwood. He’s a Toronto/LA-based film editor, post-compositor, gaffer, and screenwriter. You’re probably wondering how he got here. Birthed in Oakville, Canada, he started editing on Final Cut Pro at 8 and has been editing in Premiere and Avid Media Composer ever since. He’s edited over 30 films, the ones of notoriety being A Lover’s Stroll, The Uno Fiend, and commercials for the broadcasters at FMZ.

In 2025, Dashwood co-created hit television series Brainrot Tutor, which went on to break records as the most viewed show in Sheridan TV history. Dashwood shares an IMDB page with another Ben Dashwood, and would like to make clear he was NOT involved with the short film Company C in any way.
