Kevin Leysath II

Kevin Leysath II is an award-winning composer and altered saxophonist recognized for his reflective, sensitive, and unique voice in both film and concert music. As the recipient of the 2024 ASCAP Foundation Film Scoring Award and the 2023 NSOM Music Composition Award, Kevin’s work spans collaboration with directors and performances with orchestras, always with the goal of telling a story through music. Inspired at age six, when a movie score moved him to tears, he knew he wanted to create music that could evoke deep emotions in others.
