Jacob Christiansen is an award-winning filmmaker from Kittery Point, Maine. He found initial success with his student films "Vacationland" and "The Way Life Should Be". In 2018, he co-founded Seapoint Studios with the goal of bringing more indie film to New England. Jacob produced and edited many short films during the early 2020s, such as "The Squirrels in the Attic", "In the Company of Crows", "Penny" and "Fenwick".

In 2024 he begun an extremely ambitious project, a self-funded feature film in honor of his late grandmother and her dying wish. That film would become "The Second Bird", directed, written, and edited by Jacob. It is currently planned for release in 2026.
