Conny Van Dyke (September 28, 1945 - November 11, 2023) was born in Nassawadox, Virginia to Benjamin and Charlotte Elizabeth Van Dyke. Van Dyke began as a songwriter and recording artist for Wheelsville Records in Detroit, Michigan.
