Velvet excelled at foreign languages in grade school. In 1996 Rose won a scholarship to be a foreign exchange student in Germany and settled in Germany following graduation from McKinney High Scool in 1998. She started out in the adult entertainment industry as an exotic dancer performing in Austria and Germany at age 19.
