In one of the villages of Baku, Cabir lives with his mother. One day, while seeing off the girl he loves to her home, he is beaten by her brother, Hafiz. From that moment on, he lives with a desire for revenge. Neither his two diplomas, nor his job as a university lecturer, nor his upcoming role as “Iblis” can help him in this matter. Cabir wants to confront Hafiz on his own turf and win. That place is the meykhana arena. The verbal duel between them will change both of their lives in unexpected ways—not only theirs, but others’ as well.
