A homeless young man is offered food and shelter by an older man: not as aid, but as exchange. Sex is the price. Silence is the condition. The meetings are hidden, timed to darkness, designed to leave no witnesses. What looks like discretion is revealed as control: survival is granted only if the arrangement remains unnamed. That silence becomes reusable. Years later, when the young man tries to escape exploitative labor and leave the country, the same figure converts his vulnerability into information and passes it on. Wages are withheld. Hunger is reactivated. Time is stretched until escape becomes impossible. No violence is needed; deprivation does the work.
