A rare documentary about the Finnish parliamentary elections in March 1945. Finland was the first country at war to hold parliamentary elections. The Finnish parliamentary elections attracted exceptionally wide attention from foreign media at the time. Prime Minister J.K. Paasikivi also waited in line for an hour for the polling station to open, as did other voters in the constituency.
