Nineteen years after the war, Goge, a refugee from Bosnia and Herzegovina, lives in a UNHCR center located in what used to be a school. Jelena, a returnee of Serbian nationality, is alone among the ruins of a village that remains mined to this day. Branko, a veteran of Croatian paramilitary units, is unemployed and renting a room in the house of an owner of Serbian nationality. Endless waiting is the only remaining option for them in a dysfunctional society.
