Created during the quarantine of 2020, she marks the days on the wall. Living in New York, and desperately missing the natural world, she searches empty fruit rinds, egg shells, and dead flowers. Menstruation is a calendar. Inspired by the history of menstrual rites and rituals, Erica drinks her blood.
