The New Nurses
The lives of Erik and Anna, students at a nursing school in 1950s Denmark, a time and place where it was not normal for a man to become a nurse.

Anna has forgotten to inform her fellow students about the arrival of English nursing students at Fredenslund. Aksel becomes smitten with one of the English girls. Peter helps a visually impaired woman about to undergo surgery performed by the busy John. When Klaus is admitted again, Margrethe worries and urges the staff to find the cause of his symptoms. And in an effort to help Nina, John presents her with an even more difficult dilemma.
