Zone Stad is a Flemish-Belgian TV series about a police-department located in Antwerp. In the series, police officers solve various crimes, which are shown as realistically as possible.

The commissioner orders Tom to investigate the latest of 12 -usually frequent- deaths in a retirement home; autopsy confirms at least one was a result of poisoning by injection. The Antwerp Zoo director reports repeated vandalism, no break-in.
