A living history series recreates a typical British holiday camp from the 1960s staffed with authentic characters, and brings in a socially mixed bunch of fifty volunteers -- from young kids to grandmothers -- all eager to experience two weeks of camp fun, drab food, and twenty-four-hour supervision to discourage over-eager night-time activities!

The campers revolt against Sunshine Holiday Camp General Manager Major Vernon Rees' strict 1960s rules. The booze theft instigators are uncovered and Major Rees takes action to keep the happy campers in line. Time for some discipline, timetables and expulsions. competition time at the camp and who will win the Glamorous Grandmother competition. Another competition looms and the 21st century lads step back in time to get some 20th century tips on how to keep the young ladies happy in the dance hall. the campers are preparing for the dance competition. The pink coats give out some tips to the lads on bird pulling techniques sixties style and the Jive Champions are announced.
