Tenali Rama
Court poet Tenali Rama serves at the court of Emperor Krishnadevaraya of the Vijayanagara empire, and uses his sharp wit and wisdom to solve complicated matters quickly.

Krishnadevaraya gets his finger cut from a mock duel with his queen. Tattacharya uses this instance to entrap Tenali against the words he used in wishing the king. The king asks him to prove his statement, threatening to cut his finger else wise.
