Tales of the Bizarre

Inspired by American TV movies like "Hitchcock Theater" and "The Twilight Zone," the show features multiple works with Tamori as the storyteller and actors as the main characters. While horror and supernatural themes are predominant, a variety of genres like comedy and drama are also produced. Most episodes, however, have a bad ending.

Ayako (Yasuko Sawaguchi) has come to her alma mater, an elementary school, for her teaching practice. There is something she wants to confirm. She remembers locking a boy in shorts with no face in a school room and leaving him there when she was in elementary school. The place where that room used to be is now blocked off with a wall. Just then, while Ayako is on night duty, the phone, which was supposed to be broken, rings. When Ayako picks up the receiver, she hears a boy's voice saying, "Open up..."
