In this mysterious competition, four smiths won't know what material they're working with until they open up a crate and discover one of any number of salvaged metals inside. After a brutal round off testing, two smiths return home to recreate a weapon that's been puzzling historians for centuries--the Medieval Sword of Mystery. The smiths' skills are pushed to their limits, but only one will crack the code to win $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire Champion.
