Sportscene is the name of a range of Scottish sports television programmes produced by BBC Scotland. Its main anchor is Stephen Thompson. Holders Celtic take on Glasgow rivals Partick Thistle, hoping to continue their unbeaten domestic cup run. Hearts face Premiership counterparts St Johnstone at Tynecastle, a week to the day after facing them in the league. In another all-Premiership tie, Motherwell travel to Dundee hoping to maintain the cup form that saw them reach the League Cup final back in November. Elsewhere, there are two Highland League sides in the last 16 for the first time since 1962. Brora Rangers continue to clock the miles as they travel to face Steve Clarke's Kilmarnock side and Cove Rangers welcome Paul Hartley and his Falkirk team to Cove Bay.
