As a new football season in Scotland kicks off, Rob Maclean presents highlights of the opening weekend in the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League. Only ten weeks after Rangers lifted the SPL trophy, and with Ally McCoist now at the helm, the Ibrox side welcome Hearts to Ibrox, while Easter Road is the venue for Celtic's opening match of the campaign against Hibernian. Europa League qualification matches meant that the season started early for Dundee United and they'll be hoping to benefit against Kilmarnock, while Inverness v Motherwell and St Johnstone's trip to Aberdeen complete the weekend line-up. There is also a look ahead to Monday, when newcomers Dunfermline welcome St Mirren at East End Park.
