Different Lives

For Emir and his friends—Hasan, Sadık, and Mert—who grew up in Ziyankâr, a working-class neighborhood on the outskirts of Istanbul, life feels like a game they’ve lost before it even began. Trapped between poverty, violence, and despair, these four young men see soccer as their only chance to change their fate. They try to break free from this darkness through their friendship and their dreams.

4. Episode 4

The tension between Uzay and Emir escalates to an entirely different level with the horrific accident that occurs. As time becomes a race for the two young men who come face-to-face with death, Uzay, believing he is going to die, entrusts the flash drive in his possession to Emir. Emir, meanwhile, finds himself at the center of a decision he never anticipated. On the other hand, the confessions spilling from Melek's lips crack open the door to a massive secret that will upend all the truths everyone has believed until now. As suspicions about what lies behind the accident grow ever larger, the flash drive in Emir's hands holds truths that could alter all the balances concerning Bahtiyar. For Uzay, who has reached the end of the road, there is now only one way out: to escape. However, the secret that emerges will change not only his life but everyone's in the neighborhood in an irreversible way.
