Lord Vishnu narrates the story of Lord Ganesha, Gajasur's ego gets better of him as he challenges the Gods. He crosses the line and traps Lord Shiv. He asks for a boon that neither the lords nor the man can be the reason for his defeat. Nandi who is an animal fights with Gajasur and defeats him.
