On January 18, 2025, Riyadh hosted the Joy Awards ceremony, where Christina Aguilera performed a medley of her greatest hits, followed by a remarkable duet by Andrea Bocelli and Mohammed Abdo, as well as outstanding performances by Michael Bublé and Wael Kfoury. Jonathan Moffett brought incredible energy with his legendary drumming performance, while Tamer Hosny and Nelly Karim delivered a vibrant blend of music and dance. The ceremony honored Matthew McConaughey with the Personality of the Year award. Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Morgan Freeman, Hans Zimmer, Andrea Bocelli, Yasser Al Azmeh, Abdullah Al Ruwaished, Abdullah Al Muhaisen, and Gikwang Yun. The event also recognized the winners of 19 audience-voted awards across various categories. With more than 700 stars and distinguished guests attending the lavender carpet, the ceremony celebrated art, cultural unity, and the power of storytelling.
