Starsky, Hutch, and two other officers respond to an armed robbery at a jeweler's, only for a woman to accidentally get shot dead from one of the lawmen. The dead woman's husband is a Special Agent, paranoid after being retired from the service, and convinced that the officers were really hit-men after him, and sets about extracting his revenge.
