Lt. Adams and the Metropolitan squad face a triple threat of criminals and their crimes in one day. They're in pursuit of a kidnapper who has snatched a young girl, a robber, and an elusive murderer. Their investigation ultimately leads them out of the city and into the mountains above Malibu as they attempt to bring the killer to justice.
