Just when an animal is in trouble, the Wonder Pets' phone is broken (the can was crushed). It's up to the viewer to become a new member of the Wonder Pets and help Linny, Tuck and Ming-Ming figure out what kind of animal is in trouble. Each time the phone rings they find clues. The animal in trouble is a hummingbird whose beak is stuck in an apple.
