Sikandar Sidhu is an MFA in Film & Tv Production graduate from the University of Southern California. He is the writer and the director of the romantic comedy, Chindia. Sikandar wrote and directed, The Room which is a psychological thriller starring Anupam Kher(Silver Linings Playbook, Bend it like Beckham) and Parvin Dabbas(Monsoon Wedding). Sikandar is the creator and director of the series Patel Motel which is a Cpics original series set to premier over December 2023.
Sikandar is an optioned writer by Suburban Entertainment and set to direct a multi lingual cross cultural comedy set in Europe titled, Nihao Namaste with Peter Nelson(Samuel Goldwyn) attached as the producer. Sikandar is an optioned writer for his feature Open Waters with Oceana Studios based out of Dubai which he is also attached to direct.
Sikandar is currently developing an english romantic comedy feature titled, Meet the Kapoors starring Anupam Kher, Pooja Batra and Parvin Dabbas. The film is set to start filming over the summer of 2024 in Sacramento, CA.
